The psoas and vagus nerve
Decades of body-oriented practice and self-exploration have given me a deep appreciation of how the body can help us understand inner experience. Many people notice tension or emotional responses especially clearly in the abdomen.
In my work, I invite you to pay gentle attention to these sensations. Attentive touch and steady support can help you notice patterns of tension and find new ways to orient yourself and settle.
Some people notice a connection between sensations in parts of the body and past stress. A supportive, non-medical setting gives you room to explore these sensations at your own pace.
My work offers body-oriented support for self-awareness and self-regulation.
No medical treatment or psychotherapy is provided.

Green Touch Bodywork®
My journey in body-oriented work with intense experiences
Through mindful body awareness and body-oriented practice, I invite people to notice inner processes more clearly and explore new ways of finding orientation and stability.
In Green Touch Bodywork, I combine principles of Somatic Experiencing® for education and self-exploration with my own form of mindful bodywork. This provides a supportive setting for reflecting on and exploring physical and emotional experiences.
This video introduces the fundamentals of Somatic Experiencing® and explains why it inspires my body-oriented work.
Bodywork and supervision or coaching. No medical treatment or psychotherapy is provided.
Somatic Experiencing® is an important influence on my Green Touch Bodywork® practice. The approach, developed by Dr. Peter Levine, focuses on mindful body awareness and the experience of self-regulation.
Over the years, I’ve seen how valuable a gentle, body-oriented approach can be as people learn to notice inner processes more clearly and explore them at their own pace.
I include elements of Somatic Experiencing® for education and self-exploration. The emphasis is on noticing, orienting, and exploring physical sensations with care.

One-on-one support informed by polyvagal theory
This individual session explores body awareness through a lens informed by polyvagal theory.
You’re invited to notice your body more clearly and explore the links between sensations, emotions, and your sense of orientation. There’s room to notice subtle differences, be present, and have new experiences at your own pace.
Many people say that paying attention to their breathing, abdomen, pelvis, and other areas of the body gives them a deeper understanding of what they experience.
This body-oriented work supports self-awareness, self-regulation, and personal growth in a non-medical setting.
Bodywork and supervision or coaching. No medical treatment or psychotherapy is provided.
Connecting more deeply with yourself
A central part of the session is the opportunity to meet yourself with care. You have room to explore your inner awareness and connect more consciously with your body.
Meeting emotions with care
An accepting, nonjudgmental setting gives you space to notice and reflect on what you feel. You’re invited to experience your emotions more clearly, without pressure or a predetermined goal.
Reflecting on your experience
Some people report finding new perspectives on how they see themselves and on patterns they notice during a session. These experiences are individual and unfold at their own pace.
This individual session draws on polyvagal theory to support body awareness, self-awareness, and inner orientation. It offers a supportive setting for self-exploration and personal growth.
Bodywork and supervision or coaching. No medical treatment or psychotherapy is provided.
